The VIA Group, a services led provider of unified communications, today announced it has launched its new software application, Contact Manager, accelerating and easing the market shift toward Unified Communications. Contact Manager for Microsoft Office Communicator is among the first applications to leverage the social components of the Microsoft platform. Contact Manager provides a rich suite of social collaboration components including pre-populated lists of contacts within the enterprise. Its customizable tabs enable any server-based information to be made available and easily accessible with the click of a mouse. This extends the benefits of communication, collaboration and social-enabled business applications throughout the organization.
